DANIEL CAPON - COMPOSER
I am a British composer and sound designer from Gloucester, currently studying 'Music Composition and Technology for Film and Games' in Hatfield, Herts.
I cannot remember a time when I wasn't interested in music in general. I picked up the guitar when I was five, and I've been involved in an orchestra and many choirs over the years too - even performing as part of the Gloucestershire Massed Ensemble in the 'Music for Youth' Proms at the Royal Albert Hall. I now work as a guitar teacher alongside my studies.
My fascination with soundtracks possibly began with Disney films as a child (and to be honest, even now). Later I discovered the brilliant works of John Williams in the Star Wars movies as a gateway drug into the film-music fandom. I like to think my compositions portray my own unique voice, but I am certainly inspired by John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Michael Giacchino, Thomas Newman, John Powell, Harry Gregson-Williams, and many more.
Thank you for visiting my website. If you need music or sound design for your project, no matter how small or large, then I'd love to hear from you.
I'm happy to write for anything, but I specialise in composing music and sound design for visual media (short films, showreels, video games, trailers, and so on), in whichever style you'd prefer. From ambient soundscapes to dramatic themes, I can write and produce entirely original content to match your brief.
