Daniel is a full-time DBS-certified musician with 20 years of experience learning and applying music theory. He has a postgraduate degree in music and sound. He is a Grade 8 guitarist with years of experience in instrumental teaching, composition for film/TV/games, recording and producing music, and performing in bands, choirs, orchestras, and solo.
His teaching style is informal and flexible. While his experience is mainly in contemporary western music styles such as folk, jazz, neo-classical, pop, and rock, music theory can be taught through any lens - he can teach concepts that are as universal or as specific as required. His hourly rate is £30 (plus travel costs where applicable). A typical frequency could be one lesson per week, however this can also be tailored per student. Please contact him to find out more about his services, and he looks forward to demystifying the dark art of music theory with you (promising that it isn't as daunting as it might appear)!
