Secrets of the Elephants (BTS - Desert)
ORIGINAL MUSIC AND AUDIO POST-PRODUCTION. Daniel wrote the soundtrack and edited the rest of the audio for this behind-the-scenes bonus video from National Geographic's 'Secrets of the Elephants'.
Abiogenesis
ORIGINAL SOUND DESIGN. This was Daniel's submission to the Berlin International Film Scoring Competition (2020), where he created new sound design. You can read more about it here: www.bifsc.org
Caterpillar
ORIGINAL SONG AND AUDIO SUPERVISION. Daniel highly recommends watching the entire short film, directed by Hannah Spary, or alternatively skip to around the 8-minute mark to hear his original song 'I Dare to Dream' for the film's big finale. He also acted as a consultant for the project's sound designer.
Phantasmal
ORIGINAL SOUND DESIGN. This is a short wildlife film about the Phantasmal Dart Frog, directed and voiced by Jehan Jeffrie. All the audio was made/sourced and edited together from scratch.
Mar & Cielo
ORIGINAL SOUND DESIGN. This is a multi-award winning carbon-neutral short film produced by Fën, which earned Daniel his first IMDb credit as a sound designer. The entire film is worth a watch, and Daniel's contribution is the ocean soundscape audible during the final scene and credits sequence.
No Country for Old Men
ORIGINAL MUSIC. This is an excerpt of 'No Country for Old Men' by Joel and Ethan Coen. It is here used without the authors’ permission, solely as an academic exercise in which music has been added to the original soundtrack.
Stuck
ORIGINAL SOUND DESIGN. This is an edited version of 'Stuck' by Ali Doruk Zengin. It is here used with the author's permission, solely as an academic exercise in which the original soundtrack has been replaced by Daniel's own composition.
